Join Master Sommelier, Nick Hetzel, for a discussion about the Spire Collection.
This lunch we will do side by side comparisons of Oregon Chardonnay (Penner Ash) to California Chardonnay , Stonestreet. Oregon Pinot Noir, Gran Moraine to California Pinot Noir, Zeitlos. Cabernet from Mt Brave compare to Stonstreet. Finishing with the fantastic Verite.
Each Spire Collection wine personifies a different meaning and a distinct emotion. Some are pure luxury—they are hedonistic, sensory experiences. Others are fashioned with rigid density, meant to unfold slowly in many years of quiet evolution.
The Spire Collection resides on the best restaurant lists and cellars in the world. Bordeaux Wine Lunch

Bordeaux has 57 appellations which produce spectacular wines. While some wines are world renowned and house hold names even though some might be out of our normal everyday drinking wine price points. Bordeaux still is able to offer wines that are enjoyable and fit a budget.
For this lunch we will focus on the four appellations which are my favorite; St. Estephe, Graves, Margaux, Sauternes.
